TRAI started thinking about making the process of making mobile number easier. Currently mobile number port takes at least one month. The organization can issue directives at the end of this month by fixing the outline of how to reduce the time.

Customers can change service providers by changing their mobile number through MNP. TRAI Chairman RS Sharma said that we are going to issue guidelines to speed up the MNP process. We want to reduce time by changing parts of the process. This new rule will be implemented at the end of this month
Let's say, TRAI recently reduced the MNP rate by 79 percent. Currently, MNP can charge a maximum of 4 taka for service providers.
